Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Chali Mukte Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Chali Mukte is a sacred Sikh shrine located in Sri Muktsar Sahib. It commemorates the supreme sacrifice of the Chali Mukte (Forty Liberated Ones), who attained martyrdom while fighting alongside Guru Gobind Singh during the historic Battle of Muktsar in 1705. Inspired by the bravery of Mai Bhago, the forty Sikhs returned to defend their Guru after previously leaving him. Their courage and devotion earned them the title of Chali Mukte, symbolizing their spiritual liberation and unwavering faith. Today, Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj Chali Mukte is a place of remembrance, prayer, and inspiration. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine, especially during the annual Maghi Mela, to pay tribute to the martyrs, perform seva, and reflect on the Sikh values of courage, sacrifice, and devotion.
